Who am I?
I adore Astrology and have done so for a decade. Astrology forced its way into my life at a time where I needed guidance, and I am ever so grateful I did not run away from it! As a former sceptic, I surprised myself by how quickly I devoured everything I possibly could about Astrology. It has since helped me in so many wonderful ways and allowed me to navigate my way through the world with an open-minded and insightful new lens. I would love nothing more than to be able to give the gift of astrology to others and help them understand themselves in the way I was able to. I am extremely passionate about astrology and all it's magic/benefits, however I believe that it should come from a place of enjoyment, self love and appreciation. It is a helpful tool, but should never overpower us, we are always in control of our own lives. If your interest is peaked, fantastic!
The Planets & their meaning in Astrology
- The Sun represents life, purpose, pride, confidence, ego, identity, vitality, it’s the boss, where we are illuminated, generous, capable, and warm.
- The Moon represents emotions, basic habits, reactions, nurturing qualities, sense of inner security, our instincts, intuition, unconscious mind, moods, sentimental/nostalgic feelings, and our response to life.
- Venus represents love, money, comfort, pleasure, beauty, the arts, relationships, how we approach love and money, our taste, attraction, desires and values.
- Mercury represents messages, our communication styles, day to day expression, thoughts, ideas, understanding, logic, curiosity, coordination, how we make sense of situations, how we approach others, how we learn and digest information.
- Mars represents movement, survival instincts, drive, sex, needs, self-assertion, self-control, selfishness, raw energy, fire, passion, power, direction and our physical body and competitive nature to succeed.
- Jupiter represents blessings, good luck, opportunities, optimism, expansion, spiritual growth, fun, honesty, purpose, possibilities, tolerance, and wisdom.
- Saturn represents delays, restriction, learning, putting in the hard work, karma, boundaries, commitments, definition, self-control, limits, authority, teachers, rewards and satisfaction after putting in the effort.
- Uranus represents shocks, surprises, changes, rebellion, unique qualities, enlightenment, advancements, progression, originality, discovery, inventions, investigations, quirks, and erratic/spontaneous behaviours.
- Neptune represents our dreamy nature, imagination, creativity, intuition, spirituality, psychic receptivity, illusions/delusions, confusion, fogginess, subtle energies, compassion, empathy, manifestations, wishes and dreams.
- Pluto represents what’s below the surface, transformation, spiritual growth, death, power, control, destruction, truth, deeper understanding, our dark sides, deepest desires, how we intimidate and where we are reborn.
- Chiron represents our deepest wounds, sensitives, it is where we feel the worst, but heal the best, where we can teach, help others, share wisdom, were we guide, counsel, and feel vulnerable.
- North Node represents karmic imbalance. NN is our experiences that we need to work on to develop karmically and grow. South Node represent experiences and qualities that come naturally to us, sometimes over-developed, our comfort blanket responses we tend to fall back on when we feel stuck on our path. SN can be our undoing unless we develop the NN.

- The first house is our self-image, our physical body and appearance, our ego, confidence, energy, vitality, our vibe, defence mechanisms, attitude, and general outlook on life through our own lens.
- The second house is our money, personal finances, sense of self-worth, values, morals, material goods and material security, our belongings, pleasures, and attachments.
- The third house is our overall style of communication, out mental space, interactions, thought process, ability to plan/action, information filters, our immediate environments, and our siblings.
- The fourth house is our roots, memories, our past, family, home, inner security, stability, ability to nurture or be nurtured, our foundations and domestic life overall.
- The fifth house is our creativity, self-expression, adventurous nature, hobbies, romantic relationships, lovers, fun, play, drama, and leisure activities.
- The sixth house is our work, co-workers, general health, nutrition, daily life and routines, service, pets, organisation, and perfectionist tendencies.
- The seventh house is our 1 to 1 relationships, partnerships, marriage, companionship, significant others, business partners, our shadow self, mediators, contracts, and competitors.
- The eighth house is our ability to transform, personal growth, sexuality, taboo, the mystical/occult, psychology, secrets/lies, death and rebirth, addictions, shared assets, and resources.
